Trekking of 18 days around the Annapurna range. Starts from Besisahar, ends in Pokhara.








Character:                       Trekking of 18 days around the Annapurna range. Starts from Besisahar, ends in Pokhara.
Deepest Point:                Besisahar, 750 m
Highest Point:                 Thorong La, 5416 m
Main Difficulties:             - Height elevation between Manang and Muktinath.
                                             - Snow on the Thorong La after bad weather.
     
Equipment:     Lodges and tea houses on the whole way. Light mountain shoes or simple mountain shoes to cross the Thorong La and           down-jacket or fibre-filled jacket, warm dresses and sun glasses.
     
Best Times:     October - November; March - May      
     
Objects of Interest:
*Dasain and Tihar fesivals in the hindu areas of the lower Marsyangdi valley and around Pokhara (October).
* Gompas in Pisang, Braga, Muktinath, Marpha.
* Hindutempel in Muktinath.
* Caravan road in the Thak Khola.
* Rododendron flower at Ghorepani Deorali (April - June).
* Unbelievable ethnical and climate varieties.

10        Manang to Thorong Pedi (4200 m)
