Mt. Annapurna

Annapurna is an enormous Himalayan massif, the tenth highest mountain in the world. In 1950, it became the first 8,000 meter ountain to be successfully climbed. It is located east of a great gorge cut through the Himalaya by the kali Gandaki River . The mountain has glaciers on its western and north-western slopes which drain into this gorge.

 

 

 
 
 
 
  Days ITINERARY  
  01 Arrival in Kathmandu .  
  02 Drive to gundu(2,005m). One hour drive from kathmandu for acclimatization.  
  03 Morning sunrise view of the mountains. During the day you can visit Pulchoki, the highest point overlooking kathmandu Valley .  
  04 Drive to Beni (823m).  
  05 Trek to Tatopani (1,189m).  
  06 Trek to Ghasa (2,012m).  
  07 Trek to Lete(2,438m).  
  08 Trek to Thulo Bugin.  
  09 Trek to Thulo Bugin Pass.  
  10 Trek to Mristi Khola.  
  11 Trek to Annapurna Base Camp.  
  12-47 Climbing Period. Mt. Annapurna .  
  48 Cleaning up Base Camp.  
  49 Trek back to Thulo Bugin.  
  50 Trek back to Lete.  
  51 Trek back to Tukuche.  
  52 Trek back to Marpha/Jomsom.  
  53 Fly back Jomsom-Pokhara-Kathmandu.  
  54-55 Free day in Kathmandu .
